Sleeping patterns…

I have an alarm clock that actually wakes me up now. For the first time since way back when I was at college, around 2002.

It’s not that I’ve not had alarm clocks, it’s just that they’ve never woken me.

  • Lazyweb: SPF

    Dear Lazyweb,

What are the positive and negative points of implementing SPF in a virtual hosting environment?

Specifically, I’m concerned about when users forced to use third party SMTP servers, rather than our own. Is it a good idea, or is it something to be kept clear of?

  • Slow email

Holy hell in a handbasket. I thought my mail was REALLY slow lately. Turns out I have over 20,000 (yes, twenty thousand) deleted messages in my Inbox folder that haven’t been purged. Oops.

  • I win at Garlands…

Last week, I won an incentive prize at work for having the highest call monitoring score all day (92%).

Yesterday, I won another incentive prize because that call was the highest score all week! Go team me!

Letting your root filesystem get to 100% capacity is not good.

Seeing half-completed loglines in /var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog just freaked me the hell out until I realised what was going on.

I need sleep. I’ve been up since Saturday. I can’t sleep now because I’ll sleep ALL day, and probably all night. I have lectures today, and I have work this evening. Mrrr.
