Would someone mind running the Apple Special Event through VLC, and then have VLC stream it to disk, and then send me a copy? I’ve got this godawful NTLM-authenticating (rather than HTTP-auth’ing) proxy here in my university halls, which, guess what… doesn’t work with ANYTHING except web browsers.
So I can’t watch the stream, even if I tunnel out to a2047.v1411b.c1411.g.vq.akamaistream.net over SSH.
Anyone have a few spare CPU cycles they don’t mind donating?
Aardman Animation Studio Burns Down

The studio that Morph, Wallace and Gromit came from… burned down.
Wallace and Gromit are okay, they were in Nick Park’s briefcase, but pretty much everything else in the Aardman Animation studio was destroyed.
