Okay, well it seems like another fad has hit LiveJournal people, so I’m gonna jump on the bandwagon too…
Please leave an anonymous comment telling me what you honestly think of me. I’ve turned off IP logging too, so I won’t know who you are.

Hi everyone.
Last night I recieved a copy of the LJ::TextMessage 1.4.8.1-dev files that we were working on. 1.4.8.1’s primary purpose was to fix T-Mobile. This fix has been set back because of the downtime, and, although we still aim to get it finished by the weekend, we now can’t promise it’ll be finished until about Wednesday next week. (Of course, this depends on whether we can get it tested by you T-Mobile users in time!).
Goathack is unfortunately still down, and, to be honest, we don’t know when it’s going to be fixed. What we’re going to do is use the Minilog.com server as the development and testing server for the time being.
Thanks for being so patient with us.

The machine that ran Goathack mysteriously won’t turn on. This means that your data is safe and recoverable (and the machine is probably also repairable), but also that goathack will be down for a while.
This means that development on 1.4.8.1 and 1.4.9 has been stalled indefinately. I’ve asked if someone can send me a tarball of our files from the hard disk in that machine, but if that’s not possible, then we’re going to have to go back to an old version. Luckily, I have another LiveJournal server that could be used for testing, so all is not lost, and development should resume in the next few days, although this is likely to delay the T-Mobile fix that we were going to release this weekend.
Sorry people.

Tonight I have to:
Funfun. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to waste 1 hour 15 minutes travelling to the middle of nowhere (Epsom) to go to college. Bai.
