Friday / King Adora

Well, I would go on and say what happened at King Adora on Friday, but I think Cat (
I had SUCH a good nite last nite. Mental evening, but sooooo good!
First, skipped skool to get mashed with what lucie calls the: Old Skool Crew, so had a good time at Lucies, got home with Seal n we had sum vodka n orange to wake us up. Then we got ready for King Adora. Met up with Aaron, Jon and Matt, got them ready for King Adora, (Matt WAS such A GIRL, spent ages in the bathroom getting his hair ready). Meet up with Dave at Victoria, then ambled along to the Islington Marquee. (Though Aaron seemd determined to speed walk it)
The support were a band called Little Nikita and they completely ROCKED. But the audience were’nt getting into them at all, so on the last song, we started a mosh which the band seemed to appreciate. When we left, we saw the lead singer n we told him we thought he was great. He was also trying 2 get a crate of beer down the stairs, so he was like, ‘Hey u guys want beer?’ So we were like, ‘We NEVER turn down free beer’. So we got a can of Stella each!
King Adora were great, there so much better live then they are on record. The best song by far was Smoulder, but Suffocate pretty much rocked as well. But Bionic was good and Big Isn’t Beautiful was as lovely as ever. Dave kept on appearing with various drinks such as JD and Coke and Vodka n Orange. But when King Adora left, they kept playing this hellacool music, so we stayed for the club afterwards. Ive never been properly clubbing like that before and i soooooo wanna do it again. We got pretty drunk n we were all dancing and stuff. They were playing lots of stuff, Muse, System, Jimmy Eat World (me and aaron couldnt resist that), The Strokes, The White Stripes, The Vines, The Who, and lots of other stuff i cant remember. Such a wicked eveining. We all want to go to the Camden Electric Ballroom to see what thats like. Havent been so drunk for ages.

In February 2001 I decided that I wanted to do something to contribute towards LiveJournal - to put something back into this cool place… so I started helping out in LiveJournal’s support department. I learned a lot about LiveJournal in there… also I updated one or two of LiveJournal’s FAQs when they got out of date.
After that I didn’t do a lot, until I decided to re-do the style of my journal… so I redid my journal, and
I also helped out with the creation of the LiveJournal Text Messaging service, which as of October 31, 2002, is now run and maintained by me, with the help of
