Did I just break Jaguar? If I type an incorrect password while trying to log into Jaguar, it turns off the user interface totally and dumps me at UNIX login prompt. I can return to the login window simply by pressing Ctrl-D, but I how do I stop it from turning off the Aqua window manager?

  • Database

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit… and oh yeah, did I mention…. SHIIIIT!

I corrupted the Access database that I did for my coursework last year so I can’t finish it. Shiiit. I have until, uh… tomorrow to make a stock control and tracking system from SCRATCH. Fuck Access, I’m doing this in SQL/PHP, it’s quicker.

    Argh, why now?!

Webcam changed. Now got a cool refresh changer thingy I made in PHP. You can set refresh from 10 seconds to 1 second. New address, too.

  • Dead iMac

The iMac just got hosed and I got Jaguar’s equivalent of a sad-mac. So had to wipe everything without being able to back up because I couldn’t mount the HD at all :S

    Dammit. Reinstalling stuff now.

  • Matrix

Heh, that was strange. A courier just delivered a package. The sender’s name was:
    THE NEW YORKER
    --- STANDARD
    SHIPPER NAME------
    -------EOT -------ADV
    NEW YORK, NY 10036

I was intrigued, so I opened it to find an unmarked CD-R inside. Thoughts ran through my head of the scene in the Matrix where Neo is delivered the mobile phone. Popped the CD-R into my iMac to find a copy of Office:mac v.X. Thank you .

This intriguing looking story with a not-very intriguing ending was another post by .
